Who we are

Primearis is a Google Ads and paid acquisition consultancy working with ecommerce brands. In this policy, "we", "us" and "our" refer to Primearis. "You" refers to anyone who visits this website, contacts us, or engages our services.

Information we collect

We collect information in three ways: what you give us directly, what is gathered automatically when you use the site, and what we receive from the advertising and analytics platforms we work in on behalf of clients.

Information you give us

• Contact details. Your name, email address, company name, website and phone number when you book a call, submit a form or subscribe to our email list.
• Business information. Details about your store, advertising budget, margins and current performance that you choose to share with us before or during a strategy session.
• Correspondence. Messages you send us by email, through the booking tool or over any shared channel we set up with you.

Information collected automatically

• Usage data. Pages viewed, time on page, referring website, approximate location derived from your IP address, and the links you click.
• Device data. Browser type and version, operating system, screen size and language settings.
• Cookies and similar technologies. Small files stored on your device that help the site function and help us understand how it is used. See the cookies section below.

Information from client accounts

When you become a client, you grant us access to advertising and analytics platforms such as Google Ads, Google Merchant Center, Google Analytics and your ecommerce platform. We access this data to deliver the service you have engaged us for. It remains your data, held in your accounts, and we do not copy it out for any purpose beyond the work.

How we use your information

We use the information described above for the following purposes:

• To respond to enquiries, schedule strategy sessions and prepare for calls.
• To deliver, manage and improve the advertising services you have engaged us for.
• To produce reports and analysis about your account performance.
• To send you our email updates, where you have asked to receive them.
• To operate, secure and improve this website.
• To meet our legal, accounting and regulatory obligations.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

Legal basis for processing

If you are in the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area, we process your personal data on one or more of the following bases:

• Contract. Processing necessary to provide the services you have engaged us for, or to take steps at your request before entering into a contract.
• Legitimate interests. Running and improving our business and this website, provided those interests are not overridden by your rights.
• Consent. Where you have opted in, for example to receive marketing emails or to allow non-essential cookies. You can withdraw consent at any time.
• Legal obligation. Where we are required to retain or disclose information by law.

This site uses cookies and similar technologies. Some are necessary for the site to work. Others help us understand how visitors use the site, or allow advertising platforms to measure the performance of campaigns that brought you here.

• Essential cookies. Required for core functionality such as page navigation and form submission. These cannot be switched off.
• Analytics cookies. Help us see which pages are read and where visitors come from, so we can improve the site.
• Advertising cookies. Set by platforms such as Google and Meta to measure conversions and attribute visits to campaigns.

Third party services

We use a small number of third party providers to run this website and our business. Each one processes data on our behalf under its own privacy terms:

• Hosting and forms. To serve this website and receive form submissions.
• Calendar and booking. To let you schedule a strategy session and to send the calendar invite.
• Email. To correspond with you and to send email updates you have subscribed to.
• Analytics and advertising platforms. To measure website traffic and campaign performance.

We may also disclose information where required by law, to enforce our agreements, or to protect the rights, safety and property of Primearis, our clients or others.

How long we keep your data

We keep personal information only for as long as we need it:

• Enquiries that do not become clients. Up to 24 months from your last contact with us, after which we delete them.
• Client records. For the duration of the engagement and for up to 7 years afterwards, where we are required to retain records for tax and accounting purposes.
• Email subscribers. Until you unsubscribe, which you can do from any email we send.
• Website analytics. In line with the retention settings of the analytics platform in use, typically no more than 26 months.

When we no longer need information, we delete it or anonymise it so it can no longer be linked to you.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights over your personal information:

• Access. Ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Correction. Ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete.
• Deletion. Ask us to delete your personal data, where we have no overriding reason to keep it.
• Restriction. Ask us to limit how we use your data while a concern is being resolved.
• Portability. Ask us to provide your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
• Objection. Object to processing we carry out on the basis of legitimate interests.
• Withdraw consent. Withdraw consent at any time where we rely on it, without affecting processing that already took place.

To exercise any of these rights, email Abdoul@primearis.com. We will respond within 30 days. If you are in the UK or EEA and are unhappy with our response, you have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

Data security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections, access controls on the accounts we manage, and limiting access to the people who need it to do the work.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a breach that affects your personal data, we will notify you and the relevant authority where the law requires it.

International transfers

We operate from Portugal and work with clients and providers in the United Kingdom, the European Union, the United States and Australia. Your information may therefore be transferred to and processed in countries outside your own.

Where personal data is transferred out of the UK or EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision covering the destination country.

Children's privacy

This website and our services are intended for businesses and are not directed at anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, our providers or the law. When we do, we will revise the date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be communicated to clients and email subscribers directly.
